The Story Behind the Name
Georgie’s Cookies is named after Georgie, a rescue dog who became a constant source of companionship and inspiration. When it came time to name the business, Georgie’s Cookies felt natural and personal.
The name reflects the warmth, comfort and sense of connection that Georgie’s Cookies brings to everything we bake.
Inspired by Family and Baking Traditions
My grandparents instilled in me a deep love for baking from a very young age, sharing their timeless recipes and a passion that stemmed from necessity. With their guidance, I learned to appreciate the art of baking and the joy it brought to others.
When COVID-19 brought the world to a standstill, I found solace in the kitchen, and rediscovered my love for baking. Amid all the uncertainty, baking became my sanctuary, a place where I could create something beautiful and comforting.
My journey with Georgie by my side has continuously reminded me, that even in challenging times, sweetness and joy can be found.

It Started with Fresh Baked Cookies
Georgie’s Cookies began by baking and selling fresh cookies directly to customers. In the first 14 months, Georgie’s Cookies sold more than 10,000 fresh baked cookies, helping shape the flavors, recipes and approach that continue to define the brand today.
As more customers discovered Georgie’s Cookies, the business grew from fresh baked cookies into new ways for people to enjoy the same approach at home.
From Fresh Baked Cookies to Olive Oil Scratch Cookie Mixes
The next step for Georgie’s Cookies was creating scratch cookie mixes built specifically around olive oil.
Rather than adapting a traditional cookie mix, Georgie’s Cookies developed recipes with olive oil at the center from the start. Each mix includes the measured olive oil needed for the recipe, bringing the Georgie’s Cookies baking experience into the home kitchen.
